I am sending out this week’s message in advance of National Voter Registration Day which is Tuesday, Sept 22nd. On this day, numerous volunteers and organizations will remind people of the importance of voting and will help people register to vote.
Equity, diversity and inclusion are core to The Countway Library Diversity Plan. Diversity is the acceptance of a variety of traits including but not limited to age, gender, sexual identity, sexual orientation, physical ability, religion, language, etc. We recognize and value the uniqueness of each individual.
Week 26 marks 6 full months of primarily remote work as a result of the HMS campus COVID-19 pandemic shut-down. This week also marks the beginning of Countway Library’s Phase 2 smart restart ramp up.
We are sunsetting our monthly Countway Connections Newsletter in order to give you more up to date information here on happenings at Countway, such as our community garden, our short story dispenser, and a variety of programs.
Personally, I just don’t know where the summer went. While the early months of the shutdown seemed to drag on, August flew by and before I knew it, the early mornings became chilly and September was here.
