Harvard Library will be retiring its Legacy Proxy service (EZ Proxy) on May 31, 2026.
Harvard Library has already implemented its new proxy service, Open Athens, where the standard HarvardKey log-in will be no different than the access through EZ Proxy.
However, if you bookmarked any links to library content that went directly to the EZ Proxy server rather than the HOLLIS record, you will need to update the EZ Proxy link to its HOLLIS record equivalent. After May 31st, any EZ Proxy link will return an error message.
