  • Tuesday: 8:00am-Midnight

  • Friday: 8:00am-6:00pm
  • Saturday: 10:00am-6:00pm

Visiting Countway

  • The library is open to current and active Harvard students, faculty and staff with Harvard IDs only.
  • Patrons may enter the library via our new entrance at 695 Huntington Avenue or our original entrance at 10 Shattuck Street.
  • Effective March 7, 2022: face masks are optional within the library. Extra masks are available at the security desk.
  • Public restrooms are not available at this time.
  • Food and drink are prohibited in the library except at designated café area tables.
  • Our print collections are now located on floor L2.
  • Self check-out stations are available in the L1 atrium, on the 1st floor near the Shattuck Street entrance, and on the 2nd floor in the Russell Reading Room.
  • Book pickup is available via our grab & go cart or our new book lockers.
