“Breathe. Relax. Life is not a straight line. The turtle won the race. Stop and smell the roses.”

 

Of the many libraries you’ve seen, which stands out as the most memorable?

“The National Library of Medicine has been a big influence. The resources it offers to the world! Anyone can get remarkable answers and evidence-based information.”

 

What is the most inspiring work that you’ve done?

“It was the library in Liberia, Africa that I helped establish several years ago to support the local medical school curriculum. It was a back-to-basics, old fashioned librarianship, and it really made a difference.”
