Countway Cuddles Goes Global

We’re delighted to share that Countway Cuddles has inspired a new international initiative. A woman petting a small therapy dog being held by a second woman.

After experiencing our therapy dog program during their time in Boston, Kimiyo from Kyushu University brought the idea home, launching a “Dog Therapy × One Health: Campus Well-Being Experience” as part of Asia Week 2025 at Kyushu University in Japan. The event welcomed students, faculty, staff, and community members for an afternoon of comfort, connection, and stress relief with two therapy dogs.

Participants shared how meaningful the experience was, and even local media stopped by to cover the event. With few universities in Japan currently offering ongoing therapy dog programs, this successful launch marks an exciting step toward expanding animal-assisted well-being initiatives on their campus.

We’re honored to see Countway Cuddles’ impact reach across the globe—and can’t wait to see how the program continues to grow in new communities!
