We are so proud of their achievements, and we look forward to seeing what adventures their futures hold. Read below to learn more about their journeys and their exciting plans.

Ally Hecht is a recent graduate of Simmons University, having earned both an MLIS with an Archival Management concentration and an MA in History. Her history thesis explored gender roles within World War II musicals. Last semester, Ally helped with outreach initiatives for the archives at the Massachusetts College of Art and Design, which included a public exhibit now on display at the Massachusetts Historical Society. Current plans include a summer internship at the Theodore Roosevelt Center as a cataloging intern. She hopes to work in archival outreach, helping the public explore the history all around them.

Sophie Cos is a recent graduate of Simmons University, having earned both an MLIS with an Archival Management concentration and an MA in History. She explored the environmental history of early modern Bermuda. In addition to working as an LHT at Countway, Sophie also is a museum interpreter at the Paul Revere House. She hopes to one day find an archival position suited to her historical interests.

Perry Weidling completed the Simmons MLIS program following the Design Your Own Track. Prior to library school, Perry worked as a community health nurse. She is interested in public, academic, and medical libraries. While at Simmons, Perry worked alongside the Instructional Design team to build online courses for SLIS as the Teaching and Learning Technology Specialist. This spring, she worked with Harvard Librarian, Julie Goldman, to complete an independent study analyzing learner demographics and motivations for the Canvas course, "Best Practices for Biomedical Research Data Management."
