Week 150: Graduation Week at Countway

Graduation

Similar to last year, Countway was the hub for graduation activities on campus. Graduation is the most important event of the academic year for our students and their families. I am pleased that Countway plays a major role in hosting many of the weeklong activities. We gave a number of tours to families, rooms 102/103 were used for regalia drop off and pick up, the lobby served as a grab and go for families to pick up breakfast, the Countway Coop was buzzing, and the grand staircase was used as a site for photos. Thank you all for your help in making graduation week a memorable occasion for our students and their families.

Seed Library

The Countway Community Garden Seed Library is officially up and running! Located just inside the 695 Huntington Avenue entrance, the seed library is housed in an old card catalog and is available as a free community resource for Harvard and non-Harvard visitors alike. Please feel free to check it out, help yourselves to some seeds, and let Yasmina know if you have any questions! Special thanks again to Corey and Matthew for their help in making this happen.

Save The Date

  • HMS Alumni weekend is June 1-3, and Meredith has worked with alumni services to coordinate Countway tours. We spoke with Security and decided that the turnstile gates will remain open from 8am-6pm throughout the weekend. Please welcome our guests!

Have a nice long weekend!
