The Center for the History of Medicine has recently added new items to the catalog. Some highlights include:

- Two Amante bark manuscripts by Alfonso García Tellez, a Otomi brujo, describing rituals and practices to ensure the well-being of the community in the Eastern Sierra Madre, Mexico. Garcia Tellez worked with his wife and daughters to produce these items for the craft market.

- Two items belonged to Abijah Richardson, an early attendee of medical lectures at Harvard, prior to the establishment of the medical school. Richardson went on to serve as a surgeon in the American Revolution. Both items are annotated throughout.
