The Center for the History of Medicine is pleased to announce that Hepzi Rapoport moved into the role of Metadata Archivist in March.
Hepzi spent the previous 14 months as the Center's Collections Documentation Specialist, conducting provenance research to identify and humanize individuals whose remains are part of the Warren Anatomical Museum collection. Prior to working at the Center, Hepzi managed the Founding Research Collection inventory project at the Boston Public Library. Hepzi also spent six years of her career in collections care at the Rose Art Museum at Brandeis University. She has an MLIS from Pratt University, and her undergraduate degree is in Art History from Brandeis.
As Metadata Archivist, Hepzi contributes to our work to enhance discovery of and access to the Center's collections. Hepzi performs rare book and object cataloging and leads our collection digitization initiatives in partnership with Harvard Library colleagues.
Please join me us in congratulating Hepzi on her new position!
