“A musician.”

What do you enjoy outside of work?

“Play more guitar! I am also a classically trained violist. Today, I play guitar in the library band and the MLA house band. I used to play with the Longwood Symphony. Also, I’m rehabbing an old house.”

What would you say to the 25-year-old you?

“Step back, pause, and think about where you’d like to go.”

Do you have a go-to genre for pleasure reading?

Of the many libraries you’ve seen, which stands out as the most memorable?

“The Library of Congress reading room and the Old Boston Public Library are both memorable and have great historical significance.”
