The Countway Library is pleased to announce that it is collaborating with the HMS Arts and Humanities Initiative and the American Repertory Theater to collect personal stories and artistic responses from the Longwood Medical community created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Responses will be preserved in Countway's Center for the History of Medicine to help our community reflect on how we experienced COVID-19.

Your story is important. Whether you are a Longwood Medical Area student, researcher, physician, employee, or care provider, your perspective is unique. We are accepting any kind of work using our online submission form.

Types of submissions include:

  • audio and video diaries
  • interviews
  • photographs
  • written reflections
  • drawings
  • poems
  • songs
  • stories
  • short performance pieces

These expressions not only illustrate how each of us is experiencing the pandemic, but are creations essential to the healing process. Contributions to the Archive can also guide and inform medical education and historical research for decades.
